Mandadhar is a small station on the Kasauli-Dharampur Road. It is situated almost at a height of 5000m from the sea level. It falls under the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. The village of Mandodhar is surrounded by the oak and pine trees. The place is often visited by tourists due to its scenic beauty. There are many resorts and hotels situated in Mandodhar. It is famous for the Leprosy hospital called ‘Mandodhar State Leprosy Hospital’ which is known for treating leprosy patients in the region. It also has one of the seven sanitariums close by, that were built during the British era.
